Ordered delivery via Uber eats, then dined in alone for lunch. Food was great, too bad the dining area is small. It's 25mins drive, so won't be a last minute meal, wish they had other locations or wish delivery via apps wasn't costing half the price of the meal. I would go maybe once a month if time allowed for lunch dining in.
Really good food! They make everything fresh so they're not as quick as other restaurants, but the food is well worth the wait. The inside could use a decor refresh, but that's not the end of the world and the aesthetic is in line with how other businesses look in the area.
I love Loya, I have been eating here for years and it's something I always hit when I am in the area. They have the best veggie wraps that come with this amazing goji berry sauce. It's delicious. One of the servers Rebecca is a gem. She now serves her beverages out of the cooler and they are delicious. The food is fresh and nutritious, it's a small private owner restaurant. Give it a try I recommend.
I ordered their spicy Karahi chicken, they don't have the eggplant sizzler. Both the karahi and the Shawarma platter come with their signature salad with goji berries. Should have read that closer and not ordered a fatoosh salad on top of everything else. Oh well. Getting my roughage on tonight. We also ordered the shawarma platter (comes with soup, salad and rice), side of hummus with bread and a fattoush salad less pita chips. It would take 30 minutes to make our food order. Total was $65.72, that might be the most I have ever spent on middle eastern food to date. Food all came in a large paper grocery bag. The pita reminds me of the Greek bread at a Coney Island with their hani or salad. The shawarma meat is nice and spicy and tasty. Surprisingly good, not dry and it had a lot of flavor. It was a nice change from the usual shawarma platters at most places. The Karahi is nice and flavorful and has a good amount of heat too. It was good to the last scoop. Quite savory and rich too. I do wish they had told me the Karahi came with soup and salad. I wouldn't have ordered a 3rd crushed lentil and a fatoosh salad. There's no goji berries in their salads, just raisins in their fatoosh salad only. The salads were so-so, not my favorite. Dressing on the side might have been better and kept the lettuce less wilted and soggy from the 25 minute ride home. Order the fatoosh if you love raisins, they give you quite a bit of them. The tabbouli was nice and fresh and vibrantly green. The hummus wasn't bad, pretty smooth. The crushed lentils were decent. I would definitely get the shawarma and platter and the spicy karahi chicken again. Service is quick and attentive.
A big YES to locally sourced, organic ingredients and all compostable carry-out boxes/cups! We ordered the Chicken Shawarma meal, which included brown rice, lentil soup and salad for $14.99 and it was an ideal portion for sharing. The hummus and whole wheat pita bread was delicious as well, although I wish they gave us more pita bread for the large portion size of hummus. If you like mango, I recommend topping off your order with the mango Greek yogurt smoothie-- it was delicious! We will definitely be back.
Everyone has been telling me about Loya Organic for the longest time and I finally tried it! I have to say I was very impressed with the wait staff and food! Its a small restaurant, but you feel right at home with its Warm feel. I love how they pay attention to the food quality. Which is very important now a days. You can taste the quality of the food. We had all the chicken skewers dishes, Salmon, lentil soup and salad. Everything was season and cooked to perfection. Even the garlic and Goji berry sauces were amazing! The wait staff was awesome! Greeted us right away and with a friendly smile. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall! I was very impressed with everything there. I can't wait to go back!
